​Our client, who has partnerships with elite high-profile teams along with thousands of grassroots clubs and teams across multiple sporting disciplines, offers cutting edge sports apparel and teamwear that is creatively designed to reflect a genuine understanding of who they are and what they require to perform on and off the sports arena.

 

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Account Manager. Based in Sydney and reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for identifying new business opportunities, along with building long term strategic partnerships with existing customers. 

 

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Achieve sales and profit margin targets within the specified territory, with initial focus on sporting clubs, associations and corporate customers

  • Develop, implement and manage a sound account management strategy for your specified territory

  • Promoting and creating new sales opportunities for the brand

  • Ensure territory coverage to touch all opportunities on a scheduled basis

  • Proactively work to address issues with your clients, ensuring risk management strategies are in place

  • Meet or exceed all Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) across all areas. 

  • Contact potential clients to assess their individual needs and demonstrate how the company products can meet or exceed these needs

  • Follow credit procedures and ensure clients remain within credit terms at all times

  • Professionally represent the company at events and functions

 

To be successful you will have the following experience, skills and/or qualifications;

  • Experience in  Sales, Retail or Marketing

  • A networker who can identify opportunities

  • Tenacity and ability to influence and sell to a number of customers with differing requirements

  • Able to work both independently as well as being a great team player

  • Confident, professional and articulate, with strong communication, listening and written skills

  • Competency in Word and Excel

  • University degree in business or equivalent (highly desirable)

  • Prepared to travel throughout the territory
