Our client, Acushnet New Zealand, is a recognised leader in the golf industry. The home of the Titleist and FootJoy brands, they are committed to providing both avid and aspirational golfers alike with products and services of superior performance and quality.

 

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Account Manager (Sales Representative) to manage accounts within the North Island of New Zealand, with focus on the FootJoy product range including golf shoes, gloves, apparel and sock products within your territory. Based in greater Auckland or northern region and reporting to the General Manager of Acushnet New Zealand, you will be primarily responsible for building high quality partnerships with customers, identifying potential new customers, achieving sales plans, along with building best business practice with customers.

 

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining very strong relationships with established customer base through adding value to each customer’s business

  • Managing sales to existing customers within the territory in accordance with a developed call cycle

  • Servicing existing and prospective customers, while developing and growing brands in partnership with the customer’s shop and golfers

  • Presentations and pre booking of seasonal Footwear and Apparel lines to customers within your territory

  • Conducting Golfer Shoe Fitting Days for customers in your territory

  • Providing reports, territory insights and analysis as and when required

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous Sales / Account Management experience in the Footwear and / or Apparel product categories

  • Previous Sales / Account Management experience in the golf industry and / or a passion and sound knowledge of the game of golf and its products well regarded

  • A strong customer service orientation with a solutions focused  “can do” attitude

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Team player

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Solid level of computer literacy
