Our client, Acushnet Australia, is a recognised leader in the golf industry. The home of Titleist and FootJoy, they are committed to providing golfers with superior performance products to suit their game.


An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Account & Brand Activation Manager for metropolitan and country customers in South Australia and Tasmania. Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Titleist Brand Manager, this role has dual key responsibilities. You will be responsibility for building strong partnerships with golf retail accounts, building sales, quality merchandising and an education focus with accounts staff on Acushnet products and processes. Furthermore, you be responsible holding brand activation events to connect dedicated golfers to the Titleist and FJ brands.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Service existing and prospective customers for their Acushnet business needs, while developing and growing strong Acushnet brands partnerships

  • Manage the territory in accordance with a strong service orientated call cycle and achieving annual sales budget

  • Developing and maintaining very strong relationships with established customer base through adding value to each customer’s business

  • Professional high quality presentation to your customers

  • Conduct frequent consumer focused Brand Activation events including; Titleist Club Fitting and trial days, Golf Ball education, FJ Shoe and Glove Fitting events


To be successful you will have the following experience, skills and/or qualifications:

  • Previous sales / account management experience, ideally within the golf industry

  • A passion and sound knowledge of the game of golf and its products

  • PGA qualification or at a minimum extensive golf club fitting experience in line with Titleist approach to Club Fitting

  • Understanding of the importance of a customer service orientation with a solutions focused  “can do” attitude

  • Understanding of changing golfer behaviour and how golfers interact with brands from fitting to social media

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Self-motivated, including the ability to work autonomously and achieve daily action plans

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Solid level of computer literacy
