ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to organisational growth, the role of Business Analyst has been created and is based in Sydney reporting to the Head of Product.

​

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the Business Analyst for a portfolio of work being delivered to our institutional banking partner(s)

  • Participate in regular on-site visits to partner premises in order to facilitate successful project delivery

  • Capture, refine and document requirements through the use of stakeholder interviews, process reviews/analysis, workshops, and other research mechanisms

  • Perform ongoing analysis of existing products and systems in order to make recommendations which ensure that the highest level of value is being returned to PromisePay, our partners and our customers

  • Work closely with the PromisePay Product, Development and Delivery teams to ensure all opportunities are delivered on time, on budget, and to their greatest potential

REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant prior experience in a Business Analyst role in a software environment, with a proven track record of capturing clear, refined and relevant requirements and insights & relevant tertiary qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a banking or financial institution or similar environment, with experience in the payments sector being highly desirable

  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer stakeholders, both remotely and onsite at customer premises

  • Experience utilising tools and processes which allow for the capturing and refinement of business and product requirements (including but not limited to workshops, stakeholder interview, etc)

  • Working knowledge and experience with Altassian products such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Prior working experience liaising with remote/distributed teams

  • Ability to work to high levels of autonomy, accountability and ownership of tasks and workload.

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and customer stakeholders across a diverse range technical expertise and seniority

  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt as PromisePay continues to grow within the marketplace
