ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities with new and existing client accounts.

  • Own the process for PromisePay sales into marketplaces and platforms by having a deep understanding of both our customer’s business, goals, and how to leverage PromisePay services and capabilities.

  • Directly interface with our customer’s business and leadership teams to ensure that the PromisePay proposition is well understood, resulting in secured and validated sales.

  • Qualify, develop and sell PromisePay solution opportunities leveraging technology to solve business problems.

  • Manage the business development process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the sales and proposal generation processes.

  • Partner with clients to deliver high profile projects across a range of industries.

  • Manage the ongoing development of business relationships within sales portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain pipeline activity through a combination of methods and market sector knowledge/intelligence.

  • Promote PromisePay products/services addressing or predicting clients’ needs.

  • Present and demonstrate technology solution to clients.

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated prior experience working as a business development manager, sales executive or relevant role.

  • Proven track record of sales leadership, securing own leads, progressing deals through pipeline, and closing effectively, within payment platforms environment, highly desirable.

  • Highly consultative approach to finding solutions for customers.

  • Proven ability to drive results in an outcomes-focused, goal-oriented environment.

  • Ability to work to high levels of autonomy, accountability and proactivity.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse range of technical expertise and seniority

  • Strong communication, negotiation, time management and planning skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).

  • Demonstrated willingness to contribute to and adapt as PromisePay continues to grow within the marketplace.
