ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to organisational growth, the role of Head of Marketing has been created, based in Melbourne reporting to the COO.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create, design and implement comprehensive marketing, brand and communication strategies to create awareness of the company’s products and business activities.

  • Assist PromisePay customers to plan and execute campaigns to drive conversion and adoption of their payment platforms, and develop strategies to attract new customers.

  • Undertake in-depth competitor analysis, understand current and potential customers and continually strategise and improve on initiatives and plans to further engage and persuade the marketplace.

  • Undertake pipeline analysis, monitoring new user interface with our site, documentation, and dashboard ensuring best practice experience and customer conversion in line with organisational objectives and growth targets.

  • Drive customer activation by through strategy creation and implementation, data analytics and PR/Comms.

  • Create, develop and execute a diverse range of marketing strategies including website, social media, search, paid advertising, content marketing, PR/media, and/or events.

  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.

  • Write, develop and implement marketing strategies to attract CEO’s, C-suite, and key stakeholders/decision makers in enterprise organisations (including, but not limited to developers and finance staff) ensuring technical terminology is translated to mixed audiences using a range of mediums.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, country launches and new feature launches, globally in line with organisational objectives and growth.

  • Create, manage and coordinate, as requested, tactical communications including but not limited to the sales collateral, blog posts and high-level organisational messaging.

  • Undertake marketplace research and work collaboratively with Sales to further design, develop and tailor PromisePay positioning within the marketplace.

  • Develop automation and trigger-based campaigns to support PromisePay customers move end users through pipeline ensuring efficient & effective outcomes.

  • Develop and execute creative conversion campaigns and new marketing campaigns in collaboration with CXO, Product and Sales teams.

  • Coordinate product launches.

  • Write marketing materials for internal use and client purposes.

  • Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in a similar Head of Marketing role, or an experienced Marketing Manager ready to take the next step.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing / communications.

  • Previous experience working in SaaS, technology, banking or similar environment, with experience in the payments sector being highly desirable.

  • Ability to take a hands on approach and make things happen.

  • Demonstrated ability to compose, write, create & design written materials for internal & external use.

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management.

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences across a range of technical expertise and seniority.

  • Proven technical marketer who is up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices.

  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)

  • Proficiency in content management systems.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and work in a collaborative, cross-team manner.

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking adept at establishing and working to data measurement including A/B split testing, cohort analysis and statistical significance, and driving exponential growth.

  • Demonstrated willingness to contribute to and adapt as PromisePay continues to grow within the marketplace.
