The Acushnet Company is a global leader in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of performance-driven golf products, which are widely recognized for their quality excellence. Today, we are the steward of two of the most revered brands in golf – Titleist, one of golf’s leading performance equipment brands, and FootJoy, one of golf’s leading performance wear brands.

With a Singapore base, covering company operations in Thailand, Malaysia & Singapore, we are looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager, to Develop HR strategies, by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.


Reporting to the General Manager – South-East Asia, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Development and implementation of human resources strategies by establishing HR department responsibilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and labor relations.

  • Manage subordinates’ daily operations on recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining and reviewing compensation and benefits each year.

  • Coaching subordinates' on HR skills of recruiting, performance appraisal, compensation & benefits, employee relations, employee development etc.

  • Guides employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel on organization development, manpower development, as well as salary benchmarking.

  • Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

  • Reviews and approves monthly salary processed by different regions.


Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor degree or above in relevant field as well as complex problem resolution and general management expertise

  • Articulate communicator and ability to interpret and explain written and statistical data to Senior Management

  • Creative, Forward thinker, Coaching and Leadership skills

  • Strong Presentation and facilitation skills

  • 8 years working experience in the HR field

  • Fluency in English (a second language would be advantageous)

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Software
