An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Inventory Planner to be accountable for the BLK product range. Reporting to the Production & Procurement Manager, the primary responsibilities will incorporate demand planning, purchasing and inventory management for Australia and New Zealand. Crucial to your success will be your forecasting and analytical skills, experience working with overseas vendors, along with your superior attention to detail.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Prepare and execute demand forecasts, in partnership with sales and production teams

  • Present forecasts in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process

  • Assist in the overseeing of Product Lifecycle Management (PLC) including New Product Introduction (NPI) and End of Life (EOL)

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to proactively improve and adjust forecasts

  • Monitoring and maintaining optimum inventory levels of finished goods, along with raw materials for offshore production facilities

  • Placing purchase orders with local and international suppliers including those for customized orders

  • Manage the resolution of stock integrity issues


To be successful you will have the following experience, skills and/or qualifications;

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Finance preferred

  • Experience in demand planning, inventory management or purchasing, preferably within apparel or retail

  • Sound knowledge and experience in using ERP systems. Experience using SYSPRO highly regarded

  • Advanced MS Excel skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills

  • Thinks strategically, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, strong forecasting skills
