IT Support / Systems Analyst - Sports Industry - VIC

A great opportunity has become available for an IT Support / System Analyst to join the team. Reporting the Senior Commercial Analyst, the primary responsibilities of the role are to oversee the SAP system and reporting, maintain application systems and ensure data integrity, along with providing IT help desk support for the organisation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

SAP System Support

  • Support of SAP system covering all areas of the business including operations and warehouse processes (sales, distribution, production, purchasing, order tool, printing and reporting)

  • SAP end user training

  • Maintenance of trading terms and pricing for customers and products including setup of discounts and liaising with customer service team.

  • New customer and vendor setup

  • Provide data as requested for users

  • Communication, reporting & analysis of the business for corporate stakeholders

  • Development of the monthly finance, sales & marketing report packs

  • Use of analytical reports to provide clear communication to management, sales and marketing teams

  • Design and/or write report/program specifications as required (with Business Objects)

IT Help Desk / Support

  • Liaise with outsourced IT and Head office help desks

  • Hardware & software maintenance (all applications and Local apps eg MicrOpay)

  • Review technical documentation and data management to confirm consistency with program operations and maintain documentation of changes to computer code, programs and specifications

  • End user training

  • Maintain data integrity of the application system

  • Assist with daily operation and help desk tasks when required

  • Support phone system and telecommunications provider liaison

  • Computer equipment management (procurement and retiring)

To be successful you will have the following experience, skills and/or qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification to degree level in Information Technology

  • Formal systems qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing / wholesale goods environment.

  • High level knowledge of SAP and understanding of SQL databases

  • Business Object knowledge

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel skills

  • Knowledge of Salesforce

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, including articulate phone manner
