ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enter data, maintain records and assist in the preparation of reports and financial statements.

  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.

  • Manage premises and suppliers in collaboration with Financial Controller.

  • Manage workloads in line with key business priorities and timeframes.

  • Support payroll processing including superannuation payments, weekly and monthly processing, redundancy, terminations, and answering payroll queries.

  • Undertake travel arrangements, both domestic and international.

  • Support the PX (Human Resources) function including the coordination of onboarding new starters, preparing employment documentation, and other PX related administrative duties, as required.

  • Participate and/or manage specific projects as directed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven bookkeeping and office management experience in similar role.

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting preferable.

  • Solid understanding of accounting payable/receivable principles.

  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

  • Strong PC and data entry skills, along with a knack for numbers.

  • High degree of accuracy.

  • Highly competent in Accounting software, Xero preferred.

  • High levels of attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.

  • Prior experience in the preparation & issuing of HR related documentation.

  • Demonstrated willingness to contribute to and adapt as PromisePay continues to grow within the marketplace.
