Seldom does an opportunity like this present itself to make an impact within a recognised global brand with a strong presence in the Australian golf industry. Our client, Srixon Sports Australasia, currently has a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Territory Manager to assist the growth of their brands across the assigned region. You will be working in a fast paced retail environment where people are passionate about what they do.

 

In this pivotal role you will have full accountability for the ongoing management of all metropolitan and country accounts within your Victorian territory. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be primarily responsible for building long term strategic partnerships with existing customers, achieving sales and profit plans, while also identifying new business opportunities. At all times you will ensure a collaborative approach, and develop strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Other key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

 

  • Managing sales to existing customers in line with a developed call cycle, while also developing and growing the Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO brands in line with the needs and wants of the customer base.

  • Application of in-store merchandising principles to optimise golf pro shop operator profitability.

  • Education of customers on Srixon products and processes.

  • Provide routine and ad hoc reports, territory insights and competitor activity.

  • Attending trade shows and events to promote the Srixon brand and product range.

  • Conducting golf club fitting days.

  • Working as an integrated team to maximise sales and profit opportunities within your territory.

  • Undertake occasional overnight and interstate travel.

 

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years account management or retail experience, which also includes a passion and/or sound knowledge of the game of golf and its products. You will also have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a customer focused “can do” attitude, team player, demonstrated ability to build relationships and credibility, strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail and will be computer literate.
